1-2-3 Magic

1-2-3 Magic is a program designed to teach parents ways to manage their children’s behaviour that also builds their children’s emotional resourcefulness.
It encourages a calm approach to parenting, even in those tough moments, and shows parents how to improve their relationship with their children.

1-2-3 Magic is the leading resource for parenting solutions that are easy-to-learn and proven to work. Developed by Dr. Thomas Phelan, a registered clinical psychologist and an internationally renowned expert.

Program Topics

  • How to discipline without arguing, yelling or smacking
  • How to handle challenging and testing behaviours
  • Choosing your strategy, the three choices
  • Using emotion coaching to encourage good behaviour

At St. John Fisher, we offer this program for our Parent community either at the School or in conjunction with another local Catholic school. Honor McGill our FLO facilitates this program.
