Indigenous Literacy Great Book Swap – Week 4 – Monday, 8th August
This year we would like to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation – an organisation which aims to improve Literacy and Numeracy for Indigenous children. We have supported this in the past and after a few years break, I thought it would be good to do it again this year. We are holding a “great book swap” on Monday, 8th August and ask children to bring in one book they no longer read, and which is in good condition. All books will be displayed and for $1.00 gold coin donation children can choose another pre-loved book to keep.
