Our school was represented tremendously by a group of Year 5 and 6 students with only a number of these boys having previous cricket experience. The St. John Fisher team fought hard but were narrowly beaten in the two games that they played.
Our team does need to be congratulated for the enthusiasm, skill and persistence that they displayed. Most pleasing however was the great sportsmanship that these boys displayed throughout the day. Well done to Mr. Pobjie who coached the boys and to Mrs. Bradshaw who did the scoring. A special thank you must go to Mr. Edwards who helped out with umpiring and coaching on the day.
