We have a number of students in various sports trying out for the Broken Bay Team, which then try out for the Polding Team which go on to compete against the various teams from independent and public schools across NSW. We usually acknowledge students in the newsletter when they are chosen in a Broken Bay Team. Congratulations to Lily D who was chosen in the Broken Bay Netball Team.
Congratulations to our swimmers who competed on Monday for Broken Bay and to Sahara O’K who will join the Polding Team due to her results in breaststroke and backstroke. There were great results and a number of personal bests for the rest of the team so well done to Makayla K, Melina M, Taylah W, Lily D, Caleb N and Archie W. It is worth noting from the Broken Bay trials where there were the best swimmers from the Diocese that our team came 4th overall from the 37 schools.
We will have an assembly to congratulate these children and the 1st and 2nd place winners from the Cross-Country next Monday when the Year 5 students are back from camp.
